Sistine Chapel rented out as part of ‘exclusive Porsche tour of Rome’

The Sistine Chapel is being rented out on the evening of October 18 to the Porsche Travel Club as part of an "exclusive Porsche tour of Rome" for 40 tourists, according to the auto company and to media reports.
Proceeds will benefit the poor and the homeless.
The tourists will have dinner in a courtyard. Once in the chapel, they will attend a performance of Gioachino Rossini’s 1863 Petite messe solennelle, which includes the Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, and O Salutaris Hostia.

I think of the many of us who will never have a Porsche or see the Sistine Chapel and this just doesn't seem right somehow....

Yet the Pope rails on against wealth. I’m not sure he’s being consistent here. I mean, he’s letting 40 tourists who are paying 5,000 euros each have a private concert in the Sistine Chapel and then they go to a private gala banquet in the Vatican Museums “surrounded by masterpieces by world-famous artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael.” So we pamper the wealthy in order to give to the poor? Is this part of “gradualism”? Why can’t I wrap my head around this?
