October 03, 2014
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced three initiatives that will help Catholics to take part in the upcoming worldwide Year of Consecrated Life.
The year begins on November 29, the First Sunday of Advent, and concludes on February 2, 2016.
In the United States, February 8, 2015, will be a day of “religious open houses” in which monasteries and convents will offer tours and receptions.
A “day of mission and service” is scheduled for the summer, and a “day of prayer with religious” will take place on September 13.
