Jewish leaders visit Pope in advance of Rosh Hashana

Pope Francis met on September 17 with a group of Jewish leaders, in an early observance of Rosh Hashana, the Jewish celebration of the new year.
"We want to share with the Pope our message of peace and prosperity for the New Year," said Claudio Epelman, executive director of the Latin American Jewish Congress, who spoke on behalf of the 40 Jewish leaders.
