Papal message of solidarity with Arabic Christians

At the conclusion of his regular public audience on September 10, Pope Francis sent another message of encouragement and solidarity to Christians in the Middle East.

"May the Lord reward your faithfulness, inspire you with courage in the struggle against the forces of evil, and open the eyes of those who have been blinded by evil," the Pope said. He reminded Arabic Christians that the Church "faces hatred with love, vanquishes violences with forgiveness, and responds to weapons with prayer."
