More homosexual groups seek entry in New York's St. Patrick's Day parade

Homosexual activists in New York are pressing organizers of the St. Patrick's Day parade to include more gay-rights groups in the march.
Following up on last week's announcement that Out@NBCUniversal would be allowed to enter the 2015 parade, a group called Irish Queers announced on September 9 that it was applying for a place in the parade. "We want to march up Fifth Avenue as an Irish diaspora that has finally joined Ireland in rejecting religion-fueled bigotry," said a spokesman.
Irish Queers argued that groups representing Irish homosexuals, not only a group for NBC television employees, should be part of the parade. NBC broadcasts the annual march, and the network has close ties with the organizing committee.

What resemblance to honoring St.Patrick does this green beer fest,with freaky semi-nude drunks have? Cancel the parade.

Just as the Church has had to pull out of her hospitals that no longer live by Catholic teachings, it's time for the Catholic Church to separate from this parade of dissidents of Church teachings on human sexuality.

Once the camel gets his nose in the tent there is no keeping him (her, it) out. They should have canceled the parade rather than compromise on principals.

This was inevitable, and ultimately the straights will pull out and it will be another June gay parade in mostly green but lots of rainbow. Homosexual activists will always push the limits because their ultimate objective is the destruction of the Catholic Church.

Oh great. The line is forming for pictures with Cardinal Dolan outside St Patrick's. The question is "Will he be yukking it up and smiling from ear-to-ear as the cameras are rolling?" This naivete is beyond the pale. This is just like Cardinal Dolan's meeting with Obama when Obama assured him that he would be happy with Obamacare accommodations. These groups are openly and radically opposed to the church. They have out maneuvered cardinal Dolan, playing him like a chump.
