Irish bishop questions Catholic charity's grant to LGBT resource center

September 04, 2014

An Irish bishop is questioning why a Catholic charitable group donated €45,000 to establish a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender resource center.

Bishop Martin Drennan asked leaders of the St. Vincent de Paul society to defend the grant of LGBT Galway. A spokesman for the group told the Irish Catholic that the society saw the grant as consistent with its mission to promote social justice. The spokesman said that the Catholic charity is “non-judgmental when its assistance is sought.”

Lord help us, and I pray that I'm wrong, but it appears it's long past time for faithful Catholics to start promoting social justice at the collection basket. What a disgusting realization it has been to discover that just like secular leaders, most Church leaders hear only the voice of money.

"...promote social justice. The spokesman said that the Catholic charity is “non-judgmental when its assistance is sought.'” The same old "key" words that are to stop the questions: social justice and non-judgmental (as in, who am I to judge).

Wow! The devil has infiltrated so many religious organizations. The charity may be non-judgmental but some common sense might help. Such a grant is like giving to an abortion clinic so they have cleaner tables to murder babies. The whole homosexual agenda is the denial of God and creation.
