Pontifical Council for Laity plans November meeting of lay movements

The Pontifical Council for the Laity has announced plans for a 3rd world congress of ecclesial movements, to be held in Rome in November.

Founders and leaders of more than 55 recognized lay movements and ecclesial communities have already enrolled in the congress, the Vatican disclosed. The meeting will be centered on the apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis: Evangelii Gaudium.
