In recent days, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the jihadist group that controls much of Syria and Iraq, has occupied homes belonging to the Chaldean Catholic Church, according to a report from the Assyrian International News Agency.

In Mosul, ISIL seized a home belonging to the Chaldean Catholic patriarchate, while in nearby Al Shurta, ISIL seized a home belonging to the local diocese.

What were we thinking as a nation when we put this kind of man in charge of the White House?
