Dominican president meets with Pope

Pope Francis met on June 13 with President Danilo Medina Sanchez of the Dominican Republic, for discussions that centered on the naturalization of immigrants.
The Pope’s talks with the Dominican leader also touched on Church-state relations, and the contributions of Church institutions in education, welfare, and health services.
