Judge halts enforcement of HHS mandate against 2 religious colleges

A federal district court judge has issued a temporary injunction barring enforcement of the HHS mandate against two Protestant colleges, Cornerstone University and Dordt College.
“Plaintiffs may suffer irreparable harm without an injunction in that they would be forced to comply with the Mandate to the detriment of their religious exercise,” ruled Judge Mark W. Bennett, a Clinton appointee.
