Suffering from head cold, Pope cancels Friday appointments
May 16, 2014
After celebrating morning Mass on Friday, May 16, Pope Francis cancelled his other appointments for the day, to rest and recover from what the Vatican described as “a minor indisposition.”
The Pope had already postponed a visit to the Divino Amore sanctuary, south of Rome, that was scheduled for May 18. Informed sources at the Vatican said that the Pope is trying to shake off a cold and recover his energy in time for his May 24-26 trip to the Holy Land.
