Nigerian bishops condemn attacks on students, schools

The Catholic bishops of Nigeria have condemned the “senseless massacre of innocent students” at Church schools in the northeast of the country, in the latest terrorist attack by Boko Haram militants.
In a message to the Fides news service, the Nigerian bishops noted that the “deeply distressing” attacks by Boko Haram have frequently been aimed against educational institutions, and the instability of the nation has had negative consequences on the schooling of children.
