Protestant pastor murdered in India

An Evangelical Protestant pastor has been slain by unidentified assailants in India’s state of Andhra Pradesh, in the latest of a series of acts of violence against that country’s Christian minority.

The pastor, identified as Rev Sanjeevulu, was stabbed to death by 4 men who came to his home in Vikarabad, a village not far from the state capitl, Hyderabad. He was rushed to a hospital but pronounced dead. Police have not yet determined a motive for the killing or identified any suspects.
