Pope sending Christmas presents to Rome's poor

Pope Francis is distributing paid telephone calling cards and tickets to the Metro subway system among the poor of Rome.
Archbishop Konrad Krajewski, the papal almoner, and the Missionaries of Charity are handing out 2,000 envelopes containing the calling cards, Metro tickets, and Christmas cards with the Pope’s signature. The envelopes are being offered to the neediest of Rome’s residents, as a Christmas present from the Pontiff.
