Five members of the militant Hindu youth organization Bajrang Dal have been arrested following an attack on an Assemblies of God church in Kalwa, a town located near Mumbai (Bombay), India’s largest city.
“They attacked us, accusing us of illegal conversions,” said Ajay Kasbe, the church’s pastor, according to a UCA News report. “They punched and kicked us.”
“We were praying when suddenly eight to ten people entered and began punching us in the face,” added another victim, according to the Mumbai Mirror.
