Tombstones smashed in Christian cemetery in Jerusalem

October 01, 2013

Four young men whom the Jerusalem Post described as “Jewish nationalists” smashed tombstones and broke off crosses in a Christian cemetery in Jerusalem, according to a story that appeared on the newspaper’s website.

Discussing anti-Christian settlement in Jerusalem, Father Raed Abusahliah, general director of Caritas Jerusalem, told the Fides news agency that some rabbinical school students spit on the ground “as soon as they see a cross.”
