Coptic Orthodox leader resumes weekly public audiences
September 13, 2013
Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, who suspended his public appearances in July amid fears of anti-Christian violence, has resumed his weekly public catechesis, the Fides news agency reported.
“God gives us the same faith and confidence of the martyrs, so that we must not be anyone’s enemy,” the head of the Coptic Orthodox leader said on September 11. “Let us not allow hatred and hostility to penetrate our hearts.”
