Laos: 50 recent converts told to renounce Christianity or lose homes

The chief of a village in Bolikhamsai Province in central Laos has threatened to expel 50 recent converts to Christianity from their homes if they do not renounce their new faith, according to Human Rights Watch for Lao Religious Freedom.
The Communist nation of 6.6 million is 67% Buddhist and 2% Christian; Catholics make up 0.7% of the population.
