Bus carrying WYD pilgrims crashes in French Guiana; one dead, several injured

At least one person was killed, and several others seriously injured, when a bus carrying pilgrims to World Youth Day (WYD) celebrations in Brazil crashed in French Guiana.
Pope Francis sent a message promising his prayers and expression his “deepest sympathy” for the accident victims, and his support for the rescue workers who came to their aid.
