Slovenia leader meets with Pope

Pope Francis met on June 13 with Slovenia's Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek, for a conversation that centered on religious freedom and the role of the Catholic Church in that country's public life.
A brief Vatican statement released after the meeting indicated that the Slovenian leader spoke with the Holy Father about the economic crisis and the role of the Church in providing social services, especially education for young people.
