Vatican meeting on persecuted Christians in Egypt, Iraq

The Reunion of the Aid Agencies for the Oriental Churches (ROACO) will devote its annual meeting to the situation of Christians in Egypt and Iraq.

Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, will preside at the meeting, which will take place from June 18 to 21; the patriarchs of the Chaldean Catholic Church and the Coptic Catholic Church will offer presentations.
