Vatican bank will make annual report available online

The Vatican has confirmed that the Vatican Bank, the Institute for Religious Works (IOR), will begin making a public disclosure of its accounts.
By the end of this year, the Vatican said, the IOR will present a yearly report, which will be made available on the internet. The Vatican also disclosed that IOR officials are actively engaged with European banking examiners to ensure that the institution will be in full compliance with new European standards for the prevention of money-laundering.
