The "Faithful Citizenship" document from the USCCB was a flop in 2007 (i.e., most Catholics didn't read it) so .... the USCCB issued it again, perhaps expecting a different reception and result ! Isn't that Einstein's definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?

The firestorm over the Al Smith dinner invite has just begun. The NY Archdiocese continues to insist we remain non-partisan going so far to to suggest that "Obamacare" is to be avoided in favor of the Affordable Whatever Act. And now that laughable document on how to confuse an almost dead Catholic conscience is being hauled from the dustbin to completely shortcircuit our minds? Is the Church gone mad? We'll all be in re-education camps at Guantanimo if the bishops keeps this up. Or worse.
