US students reach finals of Vatican soccer tourney

A team made up of young US priests and seminarians from the North American College in Rome has reached the finals of the “Clericus Cup” soccer tournament, the annual Vatican competition for clerical squads.

The US team, named the “NAC Martyrs,” will play for the championship on May 12. The NAC team has reached the finals on two previous occasions, finishing 2nd in the tournament in 2009 and 2010.
