Angelicum will offer joint degree in philosophy and finance

April 18, 2012

The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, commonly known as the Angelicum, has announced plans to offer an unusual new academic program, providing a joint degree in philosophy and finance.

The new program is inspired by Caritas in Veritate, the encyclical in which Pope Benedict XVI argued for better moral guidance of financial affairs. Students will be offered a full course of studies in philosophy, combined with studies in economics, finance, and law.
