High suicide rate discovered among Australian clerical abuse victims

Australian police report that as many as 40 people who were sexually abused by Catholic priests have committed suicide.
The report from police in Victoria found a remarkably high rate of suicide among clerical abuse victims, as well as other premature deaths. The police report charges that Church officials have “chosen to remain silent” about the tragedies.

Your link above to the article in the Sydney Morning Herald proved to be, a once more horrifying read about priestly predators that were allowed to rapaciously abuse the vulnerable in their flocks, while the shepherds did nothing to stop them!! Now we get an inkling as to why there are (as is in Heaven) different degrees of Hell - for the just and eternal punishment due to the unrepentant.
