Murder charges for abortionists in Maryland

December 30, 2011

Prosecutors in Maryland have lodged murder charges against two abortionists.

Drs. Steven Chase Brigham and Nicola Irene Riley face multiple charges in connection with late-term abortions allegedly performed illegally at Brigham’s clinic in Elkton, Maryland. Authorities report that Brigham had no license to practice in Maryland. Police say that they found the remains of unborn babies—the victims of late-term abortions—in freezers in his clinic.

Actually, it's very impressive -and telling- that they ARE charging them with murder when their actual crimes are "performing unauthorized late-term abortions" and "performing abortions without a license." This is good news! (The charges I mean; not the crime!)

If a church in the area has provided (or plans to provide) a funeral and burial for these slain babies, I hope you will run a follow-up article about it to emphasize these little ones are not simply 'fetuses' , but human beings. I also like to donate to parishes that step up to bury these little ones and I'm sure many of the readers here feel the same. Please pray for these babies' mothers and fathers and that those in the abortion industry will stop earning a living off these little bodies.

Has logic ever been a strong point in the secular press?

So, it's only murder because they did it without a license? Do they not see the contradiction here? If abortion is murder when done without a license, it logically follows that it is also be murder when done with a license.
