Millions of Russians flock to venerate Marian relic
November 30, 2011
More than 1 million people flocked to Moscow’s Russian Orthodox cathedral—causing massive traffic snarls in the Russian capital—to venerate a reputed relic of the Virgin Mary.
The “Belt of the Virgin Mary,” which is believed to have miraculous properties, was viewed by more than 3 million Russians during a 40-day tour of the country that ended in Moscow on November 28. The relic is ordinarily kept by the Orthodox monks of Mount Athos in Greece.

The simple piety of the Russian people couldn't be destroyed by almost a hundred years of Darwinian and Marxist lies taught as gospel truth. This sort of thing is encouraging. While the West continues to slide into apostasy Russia is rising from the ashes.
