November 07, 2011
Gunmen attacked a Catholic parish in the north-central Nigerian state of Kaduna on November 3, killing two women and injuring a dozen. Protestors took to the street following the shooting and burned tires to protest inaction by security forces.
The militant Islamist organization Boko Haram (“Western education is a sin”) had carried out an attack in Kaduna in late October.
