Orange diocese moves to revive bid to purchase Crystal Cathedral

November 02, 2011

The Diocese of Orange, California, is seeking to stop the sale of the Crystal Cathedral to Chapman University.

The Chapman bid was apparently accepted because it made provisions for the Crystal Cathedral congregation, founded by the noted televangelist Robert Schuller, to lease and eventually repurchase the property.
