Former British MP: Why don't Christians qualify for foreign-policy protection?

A prominent British Catholic politician has rapped the country's foreign-policy establishment for failing to advance the religious liberty of Christians.
“David Cameron’s government have threatened to cut the overseas aid budget for countries which persecute homosexuals,” said Anne Widdecombe, a former Member of Parliament. "Fair enough. But what about Christians? When do we qualify for protection, or don't we?"
