Kerala: Syro-Malabar Church defends nun, priests accused of murder

A spokesman for the Syro-Malabar Church has come to the defense of two priests and a nun arrested in connection with a nun’s 1992 murder. Calling the arrests ‘a face-saving exercise,’ Father Paul Thelakat said, ‘I hope their innocence will be proved in court.’
