New Mass translation delayed another year in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong diocese has announced that it will postpone the introduction of the new English translation of the Roman Missal for another year.

The new translation will be unveiled in most English-speaking countries this year on November 27: the First Sunday of Advent. But Father Lawrence Lee, the chancellor of the Hong Kong diocese, said that another year would be required for catechesis to prepare the faithful for the change.
