Vatican's Islamic interlocutor emerging among leaders of new Libyan regime

Aref Ali Nayed, one of the 138 Islamic leaders who answered Pope Benedict’s challenge to engage in inter-religious dialogue, has been named to the “transitional council” planning for the installation of a new government in Libya.
