Catholic college professor is 'abortion doula'

August 09, 2011

A sociology professor teaching at a Catholic college in New York is promoting her course on a pro-abortion web site, and describing herself as an “abortion doula” at a public hospital, the Cardinal Newman society has discovered.

Bianca Laureano, who teaches a course on human sexuality at Mount St. Vincent College, calls attention to her work on the site of Advocates for Youth, a pro-abortion group. On that site she provides details of her assistance to abortionists.

Doulas are so higly respected in many cultures for the life sustaining care they provide to mothers and their babies - it is disgraceful for someone promoting abortion to use that title.

Hadn't ever heard this word before, so I looked it up. Doula: a woman who assists women during labor and after childbirth. Abortion: the inducing of premature delivery in order to destroy offspring. Hence, abortion doula: an oxymoron. You can't assist someone after childbirth if their child is never born.

"Advocates for Youth"! Now there's an ironic name. Advocates, just so long as they're not very very young youth...
