Indonesia: 2 house churches burned to ground

Two Christian house churches have been burned to the ground in Riau, a province on the western Indonesian island of Sumatra. Since 1967, an estimated 1,200 churches have been burned down or closed in the world’s fourth most populous nation.
3% of the nation’s 228.5 million people are Catholics, according to Vatican statistics. 6% are Protestant, and 86% are Muslim.
