Christian schools and church halls in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, are now housing 5,000 refugees--mostly Muslim--who have fled the eruption of Mount Lokon.
The Diocese of Manado, located in an area that is only 3% Catholic, is providing masks to refugees and is urging parishes to be “open and show solidarity, providing as much assistance as possible.”
