US government officials questioning Catholic identity of universities

Patrick Reillly of the Cardinal Newman Society alerts the reading audience of the Wall Street Journal to the incursions by federal bureaucrats into the policy decisions of Catholic universities. The key question, he notes, is whether these institutions can credibly claim that their Catholic identity informs all of their educational policies.
