A movie that WE can promote

By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | May 15, 2003

We've mentioned this before, but it's worth a repeat.

Leonardo Defilippis, a very talented and very Catholic filmmaker, has produced what will probably be remembered as his masterpiece: Therese-- a portrait of St. Therese of Lisieux.

A friend recently attended an advance screening. His comment:

Many in the crowd (including myself) were moved to tears at the end and the standing ovation for Leonardo lasted fully 5 minutes. On top of that, he was just invited to screen the film privately for Pope John Paul!

Defilippis has put up a web site where you can preview the movie. It's attractive in itself, and leaves you wanting more.

But more important: Hollywood czars are carefully watching the traffic on that site, as they try to decide how much publicity to give this movie. So by visiting that web site, you can help bring this beautiful story to more people.

Pass it along!
