the fun side of feticide

By Diogenes ( articles ) | Jan 03, 2006

Passing one's days in the company of abortion droogs, as you might expect, broadens the intellect as much as it sharpens the wit. Witness the following from the NOW website, in which president Kim Gandy vindicates the sisterhood against unjust and envious accusations of stolidity:

One too-frequent charge against feminists is that we lack a degree of levity. A Ms. Magazine cover once showed a cartoon version of a man saying to a woman, "Do you know the women's movement has no sense of humor?" To which she replies, "No, but if you hum a few bars, I can fake it!"

Thank you, Kim.

Our next offering, from the same source, which I am not making up, consists of one of Ms. Gandy's "Carols in the key of F." She notes that it's sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells." Brace yourselves.

Dashing through the snow
On our way to Capitol Hill
NOW rounds we will show,
And we won't stop until

We save the Su-preme Court
'Cause it protects our rights
We'll protest any nominee
Who won't support our fights.

Oh! Not the church, not the state,
We'll decide our fate
Oh what fun it is to plan
For the 2006 debates!

Go ahead. Quit your day job.
