You probably recall that key American Church leaders were set to meet with Pope Francis on Thursday.

As Phil Lawler asked on Wednesday: Does the Pope want the truth? Thursday’s meeting will tell.

But, no surprise here, it will not tell us quite yet: US bishops report ‘fruitful’ meeting with Pontiff; no word on apostolic visitation.
