Major museums, especially trendy art museums, tend to have too many wealthy, hedonistic and even fatuous supporters. Over the years we have seen many proofs.

This week it was New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art: It combined an exhibit of beautiful and historic liturgical vestments from the Vatican with a fashion show which mocked both the vestments and the Church.
