We Catholics are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Pope Francis has offered special indulgences throughout the entire anniversary year, from November 27, 2016 through November 26, 2017.

Unfortunately, a significant attack on the virginity of Mary appeared on the First Things website just a few days ago. This is unacceptable on every level. I've responded to it here: Mary holy for only nine months?

It is true, of course, that we should be questioning Mary, but not that way! We should be asking her how we need to change to give greater glory to her Divine Son.
