eNewsletter Subject: Building the Kingdom of God

Last night I dreamed that I had to type “the Kingdom of God” into a computer, as a kind of password, to solve a major configuration problem. Apparently I tried to do this for hours, and I could not type it correctly.

I woke up somewhat unsettled. Perhaps that's why I decided to write on an unexpected topic today: On guard against ourselves: The problems of aging leadership.

Before highlighting other new materials on CatholicCulture.org, I should probably mention something else I have difficulty typing. We need to raise about $7,000 over the next nine days to come through the slow Summer period without excessive debt. I hope you can help.

Moving on, what strikes me most so far this week is how much good news there is, though some of it may prove to be a calm before the storm. Even Phil Lawler's latest commentary, The Womanpriests fantasy: installment 614, is good news of a sort, since the absurdity of the matter is so obvious.
