Most followers of CatholicCulture.org know I don't spend a great deal of time on politics, but one growing political trend in the United States concerns me deeply. I'm referring to A New Anti-Catholicism Evident in Political Campaigns. I have political friends here in Virginia who are severely affected by this, and it is not pretty.
Against this background, one wonders whether the United States' National Security Agency (NSA) really is monitoring phone conversations among Cardinals, but I doubt there is much to it. Still, you may be interested in our coverage of this question:
