Planned Parenthood exposed again: no mammograms provided

In a new exposé, the pro-life activist group Live Action has found that Planned Parenthood does not offer mammograms—despite a concerted public-relations effort claiming that the group provides that service. Planned Parenthood officials have fought against pro-life efforts to cut federal funding to their organization by claiming that Planned Parenthood provides valuable medical services, including mammograms. But when Live Action operatives called Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 different states, every clinic said that the group does not do mammograms. “We don’t provide those services whatsoever,” said one Planned Parenthood staffer.

“Planned Parenthood is first and foremost an abortion business, but Planned Parenthood and its allies will say almost anything to try and cover up that fact and preserve its taxpayer funding,” said Lila Rose of Live Action. Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who has converted to the pro-life cause, observed: “For so long PP has touted that they are a provider of mammogram services. This is just one of the lies that PP uses to draw people into their clinics. PP is not able to provide quality services on their own, so they are forced to lie to the public about services they don't provide--and mammograms are just one of those services.”
