Two nuns collaborate on Stations of the Cross for Good Friday
CWN - March 29, 2011
Two Augustinian nuns are collaborating on the text and illustrations to be used for the Stations of the Cross at the Roman Coliseum on Good Friday.
The Vatican has announced that Sister Elena Manganelli, who lives in a convent near Siena, will furnish illustrations for the booklet. These illustrations will also be featured in a television broadcast of the traditional service, which will be led by Pope Benedict XVI.
Mother Maria Rita Piccione, the head of the Augustinian federation, who lives in Rome, had already been identified as the author of the text for the service.
