Brother of slain Pakistani cabinet minister given government post

Paul Bhatti has been appointed a "special adviser" to the prime minister of Pakistan, responsible for the affairs of religious minorities, the Fides news service reports.
Paul Bhatti is the brother of Shahbaz Bhatti, who was killed because of his criticism of the nation's blasphemy law. Shahbaz Bhatti had served in the ruling cabinet as minister for religious minorities. His brother will have the same responsibilities.
