Huge internet traffic for John Paul II beatification site

The Facebook page set up for the beatification of Pope John Paul II drew almost 30,000 fans in its first week.
The beatification Facebook page includes videos from the pontificate of John Paul II, an each of these videos has been watched more than 50,000 times since the site was established.
Father Federico Lombardi, the director of the Vatican press office, allows that “we are very satisfied” with the early results.
