Over 16,000 US youth to attend World Youth Day

Some 16,500 US youth, accompanied by at least 60 bishops, will attend World Youth Day in Madrid this August, according to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The largest contingents are traveling from the Archdioceses of Detroit, Philadelphia, New York, and Denver.
